Thank you so much for visiting! My name is Audrey, and I am the founder of Legendary Labs of California.
My love for this breed is personal. In 2014, I was searching for the absolute perfect companion for my son, who has autism. I knew we needed a dog with an intuitive, calm temperament and unmatched trainability. I truly believe God led us right to Dixie, an incredible AKC Labrador with a rich hunting and champion pedigree.
Dixie didn't just join our family; she was an incredible blessing to it. Witnessing the profound, life-changing bond between Dixie and my son inspired me to become a breeder. For the past nine years, I have dedicated my heart to raising premium Labradors so that other families can experience the same loyalty, comfort, and support that we were given..
Raised in Our Home, Rooted in Our Hearts
We are a small, intentional home-based program, not a commercial kennel. Originally founded as Legendary Labs of Texas, we recently relocated back home to our native California!
Because we only welcome a few select litters each year, we can guarantee that your future puppy receives round-the-clock love, care, and individual socialization from day one. Our adult dogs are cherished family members. While they have an acres of outdoor space to run, play, and explore, they live, relax, and sleep right inside our home with us.

When I am not caring for our dogs, I bring a high level of professionalism and ethics to everything I do. I hold a full-time career managing teams in the Biotechnology industry, where I have worked for over 15 years, and I am currently a second-year law student.
My unique background in science and professional management directly shapes how I manage our breeding program:

Rigorous Health Screening: While no breeder can guarantee a dog will never face a health issue, I prioritize extensive OFA health and genetic testing on our parents. This drastically minimizes the risk of inherited diseases.

When our family isn't busy with puppies, biotech, or law books, you can find us outdoors, exercising, working on DIY projects, and soaking up quality time with friends and family.
