1. Pricing & Financials

We are deeply committed to raising health tested, socialized purebred Labrador Retrievers. Maintaining a quality breeding program requires an extensive financial commitment to genetic health, top-tier veterinary care, and full compliance with strict California business and tax regulations. 

When you adopt from us, your investment directly funds the highest standards of care for your future family member. 

• Total Adoption Fee: $4,000.00 per puppy (plus sales tax).

• Reservation Deposit: $1,000.00 due upfront to secure your puppy.

• Final Balance: $3,000.00 plus applicable Nevada County sales tax, due on pickup day.

• Deposit Application: Your $1,000.00 deposit is fully applied to the total price when the puppy turns 8 weeks old.

• Payment Methods: We accept Venmo, personal checks, and popular cash apps for deposits.

• Flexible Litter Placement: If your preferred color/gender is unavailable, your deposit is fully refundable or transferable to a future litter.

 

2. What comes with your puppy

• Go-Home Window: Puppies transition to their new homes between 8 and 12 weeks of age.

• Medical Basics: First age-appropriate vaccines, routine deworming, and microchipping are completed.

• Purebred Documentation: Purebred AKC registration paperwork to register your puppy and verified pedigree details are provided.

• Transition Pack: A starter supply of puppy food is included to protect their digestion.

• Medical Safeguards: When available, puppies may include a voucher for a 30-day Truepanion trial (subject to activation windows; no ongoing breeder liability).

 

3. Our Health & Program Policies

• OFA Screening: Our adult dogs undergo rigorous genetic and health clearances, fully verifiable via the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA). Please see more about health testing here.

• State Compliance: We operate in full compliance with California statutory breeder laws, consumer protections, and state tax obligations.

• Adoption Contracts:  To protect you, the breeder, and the puppy, a formal written agreement is signed at two stages; when placing your deposit and at puppy pickup.

• Companion Homes Only: All puppies are placed on strict AKC Limited Registration to ensure they go to loving companion homes.
